We signed our 3-year-old up for the lil’ ninjas 6pm Wednesday class. We were looking for a place that could help our climbing, swinging, tumbling kiddo develop some skills. The facility is amazing and promised to deliver everything we were hoping for. The obstacle courses were excellent.
Unfortunately the class itself left much to be desired. The coaches are not skilled at working with young kids. They frequently took their eyes off the kiddos to talk, didn’t establish or enforce basic safety rules, and quickly talked kids through the obstacles rather than showing them the steps (though Jori, the coach in training, was much better about this).
We were so hopeful that we tried again. Unfortunately the second class was worse. Kids were piling up at different points on the obstacle course (at the top of the slide, at the platform to a swing, etc.) without notice or intervention. This led to our kiddo getting kicked in the face and falling off a platform- an entirely preventable and unnecessary incident.
The front staff person handled the whole situation very well and took our feedback about class management seriously.
Unfortunately the response from the main coach was to handhold the kids through the remaining obstacle course. He held kids to limit their swinging, lifted them to the ground rather than letting them drop, literally removing all the skill building we came to learn.
I shared this all with the head coach who said they’d do better going forward. Unfortunately we won’t be returning but we hope they improve things for future classes.

My kids (6 and 2) are loving ninja at Northshore. The coaches are very fun. They have been here for 3months. My daughter also had her birthday here today. She had so much fun and so did her friends. I love how my kids get their wiggles out, cheer for everyone, and are improving their spatial/body awareness and coordination. Highly recommend and special shout out to Coach Ahli!

Just hosted our daughter's birthday party here and had a fabulous experience! Hosts were attentive and kept the flow of the party moving smoothly. Check in and payment was smooth and kids all had a blast. Very clean. Would definitely recommend! Definitely love the north shore location.

We hosted our twin sons' 5th birthday party at Ultimate Ninjas this past weekend and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The Ultimate Ninjas team handled absolutely everything, including room setup and decor, cleanup, guiding the children through the activities, and serving the pizza and cake. It allowed us to take as step back and actually enjoy the celebration alongside our sons. Would definitely recommend!

Had our kiddos birthday here with 30 kids and 20 adults it was great. Enough space for everyone. Everybody loved it and wanted to stay longer! They took care of the set-up and clean-up as well as running the activities. The open gym is great as well.

Great birthday experience. The whole crew made the birthday fun and easy. From the moment we walked in they did the work, organizing gifts, setting up the party room (as well as cleaning it after), and leading the kids through the various courses. A great experience and the kids had a blast.

We owe a lot to Ultimate ninjas. My daughter was born with cerebral palsy and she attended classes there from the age of 3. Her strength, confidence and balance grew exponentially at ninjas. She is in summer camp there now and has a blast. Lizzie is her favorite counselor because she is kind and fun. When I saw my daughter able to climb the big wall, I cried. 🙂

Our daughter LOVES Ninja camp here! The staff are wonderful and she has a great time everyday. Her favorite coach this time was Lara! We’ll be starting regular classes in the fall too since she hasn’t wanted it to end. Definitely recommend this location!

Our kid LOVES this place! He’s been coming since he was 4. He started in Lil’ Ninjas - when we would send him to the camps at that age, we were clear that he might be too scared for the big kids and they always provided extra attention to the little ones. Our son is now 6 and a half and we signed him up for half-day camps in the summer and our son has requested full day, which tells you how fun it is! We changed half to full and our kid is so happy! He loves the coaches, they are so kind and genuine in helping the kiddos! His faves are “all of them”! Specially he remembers, Ricky, Josh (both of them), Stephanie, Maggie and Laura! Thank you all for making our kid feel so included and giving him such a great time 🥰

We had our birthday party here and all the guests - adults and kids-had an amazing time. They were so thoughtful and accommodating to make sure all guests were able to participate, providing a one-on-one aid for a kiddo with mobility differences. It made the whole party so special for us and every kiddo left exhausted and happy! Everything was super clean too.

I cannot say enough great things about this gym and the wonderful community Stephanie and the coaches have created here. We've been active Glenview Ninja's for 3+ years and have seen amazing growth in our kids' abilities, confidence, playfulness and strength. We've also now had two back-to-back years doing birthday parties here and it is worth every penny; they set you up, order amazing pizza for you, get all the gifts ready and have dedicated coaches to usher kids through various play areas. 10/10 recommend for birthday parties for any age and couldn't recommend the classes more highly either. It is one of the best things on our schedule each week!

All three of our kids (5, 10, & 14) LOVE it here. The staff is engaged with the students and genuinely care about their success. Unlike other sports where it's highly competitive, we find that Ninjas are nothing but supportive of each other. The Elite team is a welcoming community that really brings all the training and hard work together. Thanks to the whole team that helps provide a healthy and positive space for these kids (and adults too)!

Amazing Gym my kids love going there, we recently just hosted our son’s birthday party there and I had to say they definitely did not disappoint the rooms were all clean and in great condition and the staff were very friendly and tentative to all our needs!!! This place is a large waste of money and time. The teenager coaches are rather bad at their jobs - low energy, don’t pay attention, and there are way too many kids per session on Saturdays for just two of them. Also, most kids don’t even get to do more than one or two iterations of any particular exercise. As parents we’re not expecting Olympic level ninjas, but the way this place operates is no better than bringing your kids to an outdoor or indoor playground for free, unless you’re hoping this is just lackluster babysitting time.
I give it two stars rather than one because I guess the kids get to have fun with each other.

We hosted my son’s 7th birthday party at Ultimate Ninjas Northshore in Glenview. It was the ULTIMATE party! The kiddos (and parents) had so much fun! The staff (Stephanie, Andre, and Vlad) were helpful, on point, and interactive with the kids, making sure everything was set up perfect and that the guests (kids and parents included) were having a great time. The venue had a cool, inclusive, positive energy to it, encouraging kids and parents to play, get on the course and try new things. As a parent who has been to many kid parties, being able to be involved was fun.
The whole experience was relatively stress free and most importantly a BLAST! I highly recommend booking this venue. It was great!

This is such a great place for kids to go, burn off energy, and really get strong and improve their balance. This is also a great place for birthday parties as they handle literally everything – the teenagers they have working there are amazing; always focus on the kids, keeping them safe,and really managing things.

This is an amazing place for a kids birthday party. We had a large group of 4 year old boys who just ran and had fun. It’s clean and organized. We had to do very little set up/ take down because the staff helped so much. Our son loved his birthday here!

We celebrated my son’s 4th birthday and we loved everything. Stephanie was very responsive and the two young men assigned to our group, Patrick and Devon, were very attentive, kind and respectful. I was a bit concerned about the age of the kids in our party, but they had a lot of fun and some parents were surprised of what their kids were able to do. Definitely a good experience I recommend.

Ultimate Ninjas Northshore was the perfect place for our son’s 5th birthday! He had a blast, and the staff was incredibly courteous and organized. Even with 21 kids and 20 some adults, it was the most stress-free party we’ve had. Highly recommend for a worry-free, fun, energetic celebration!

My son had his 6th Birthday at Glenview Ninja Gym and it was so much fun. All the kids had a blast. The place is huge and had so many different area for the kids to play. There were two helpers that helped the kids in the areas which was so helpful with 5 and 6 year old's. They also take everything off your hands and set up the party. Would recommend this place for a birthday!!!

My daughter had the most amazing birthday party at Ultimate Ninjas North Shore. The staff really does handle everything for you. When you enter the facility, you are greeted by the welcoming front desk staff. They bring you a cart for your decorations, (a banner, 4 tablecloths, plus a dessert) and then they set up the party room for you with everything you brought. There were also labeled rolling bins for party guests to put gifts. At the end of the party, you just roll the bin to your car to load up. The party itself is so well organized with each birthday group getting 40 minutes in each of the designated spaces. You may see other parties there, but each group is separated so you’re only sharing the obstacle course with your own party guests. There were plenty of friendly, attentive staff members helping to monitor the kids on the courses. When we were in the party room, the staff came up to me three different times to see if we needed anything. The other parents and I were extremely impressed with every aspect of this party. Stephanie, the manager, has a VERY well-run facility with an awesome staff. That was such a fun party! I highly recommend this location for birthdays and other celebrations.

What a wonderful birthday party facility. They take care of everything from setup, to pizza delivery, to running and organizing all the activities. We had Patrick as one of our helpers and he was INCREDIBLE. He made grown ups and kids feel comfortable and took all the extra steps to make sure things ran smoothly. Highly recommend this spot. Amazing experience at Ultimate Ninjas for a birthday party. Well maintained gym and very organized from start to finish. Our hostess frequently checked on us and made sure that our event went smoothly. A couple years ago we had a girl hostess who gave attitude and was no where to be found, so we did not want to come back again, but just gave this place one more chance. Booking the party, communication from the staff with party details and the party itself were all a breeze. The staff at ultimate ninjas was welcoming, so organized, and great with the kids! As a mom, not having to worry about a thing except showing up was fantastic! I loved how the kids rotated through different sections of the gym. My only suggestion is that the party room time could be shorter. The kids really wanted to play more!

Stephanie was great to work with when she invited us to come and tour the facility and explained how everything was going to go. A week before there needed to be some adjustments made and Stephanie was willing to work with me to help make the party amazing. Ultimate Ninjas NorthShore is a GREAT place for a kids Birthday party! My daughter and her friends (ages 4-6) had an absolute blast. The staff was great from start to finish. Activity options ranged from climbing up walls, hanging from ring and bars, sliding down slides, playing basketball, guided obstacle courses and more. We had many sets of hands helping with set up and takedown of the party room, serving the kids snacks and treats, and most importantly they ran all the activities. We would definitely do another party here. My daughter also does a weekly “ninja class” here too, which she loves and always sleeps well the night afterwards. Great spot for activities and parties!

We found ultimate ninja through the Palatine park district I will always remember the moment a small act of generosity from the manager Stephanie changed the course of my daughter’s experience of class. My daughter has always been a quiet child in spirit she was nervous and it was her first time, she did not want to participate in class. Stephanie came to the rescue spoke with my daughter & stayed with my daughter the entire time. The simple act of staying with my daughter for comfort made my daughter want to come to this place even more now. Thank you Stephanie from the bottom of my heart for being a beacon of light — I would give 500000/5 stars if i could. Good workers are very hard to come by these day. Thank you for being great! Highly recommend this place to anybody.

Had a combined birthday party for my 2 children with a large group - 44 kids (90 people total)....it was amazing from start to finish! Place is clean and every kid had a blast - ages 2-10!! Anytime I called no matter who I got on the phone, everyone was super friendly and polite. Any questions I had with the party, Stephanie was awesome to work with. Adults were texting me that night and next day about how great of a party it was. Definitely recommend this place.

Planned a party for 80 kids and everything went so smoothly. The staff was helpful with all the kiddos, monitoring and helping them. They set up the rooms, passed out all the food and really made my time so much easier, thanks Bowden!!. I was really impressed with all the service. The day of the event we showed up, they took everything off of out hands...they decorated the room, organized activities for the kids, and helped with cake cutting. I truly got to enjoy my time with my daughter and her friends!

Our kids LOVE coming here! They've become so strong, and they've learned how to overcome obstacles, (literally and figuratively) through the weekly sessions.

This place is so much fun for all ages! What an incredible place for a party! We just hosted a kids party here for our son's Bar Mitzvah celebration, and it was perfect! The manager, Cesar, couldn't have been more helpful and easy to work with. His staff was energetic, engaged well with the kids and made sure that everyone was safe, while still having a good time. We were able to have a dj and other traditional aspects to a Bar Mitzvah celebration, while allowing for nontraditional activities for the kids. Every child had a blast on the equipment and left wanting more. Even the adults had fun in the gym! Whether you're looking for a class, open gym time, a birthday party or a larger event like a Bar Mitzvah, I can't recommend Ultimate Ninjas highly enough!

This place was amazing! We had our 7 year old’s birthday party there and everything was perfect. The staff was fantastic, it was well organized, and clean! They take care of everything, set up, ordering pizza, clean up. They have staff on hand to set up ninja challenges for the kids and the adults get to play too! I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff was.

This place is awesome. We hosted our sons birthday party last night, and every kid loved it and had a blast. What a unique experience where the kids and burn energy and have fun. The gym was clean and large, and the facilitators were great. Brian was great as well and super helpful. Our party was pretty late so we didn't order pizza, but the pizza company they use is delicious. Parties here could accommodate a wide range of ages - even adults! I'll also be looking into classes for the kids as it's such a great experience, especially for the winter!

Love this place!! The whole family has so much fun here. Always new obstacles to challenge us and keep us in shape. Both adult classes and kids classes have amazing coaches to help encourage and motivate us. Definitely recommend this place to all my friends and their families!!

We just threw my daughter's 6th birthday party here and it was wonderful! They were very helpful and accommodating. Our guests had a great time and the staff assigned to help our party could not have been nicer. I would recommend this for a party venue (or just a fun open play/class activity) to anyone!
I brought my 11YO son today for open gym and he absolutely loved it! It definitely became more crowded after 12:30, but the staff was great and offered assistance when requested. The obstacles were just like the show and are easy to try, but challenging to master. We will be back for sure!
