Ultimate Ninjas Academy signs first wave of U.S. franchise agreements in California, Florida, Illinois, Colorado and a multi-unit franchise agreement for the entire country of China
CHICAGO, IL — Chicago-based Ultimate Ninjas Franchise Group has signed the first wave of franchise agreements for Ultimate Ninjas Academy, a retail-footprint, obstacle course gym exclusively for kids aged nine months to seven years old. Under the same corporate umbrella as full-size Ultimate Ninjas training gyms, five Ultimate Ninjas Academy locations are in various stages of construction in the United States — Naperville and Deerfield, Illinois in the greater Chicago area; Orange County, California; Fort Myers, Florida; and Fort Collins, Colorado. A Master Franchise Agreement Letter of Intent (LOI) also has been signed covering the entire country of China. The Ultimate Ninjas Academy concept was conceived years ago as the Ultimate Ninjas gyms saw an increased demand for pre-k and toddler programming. Ultimate Ninjas is the world’s premier ninja gym franchise with 14 current or pending United States locations and 2 initially planned for China.
“Ultimate Ninjas Academy franchisees can now offer our signature, uplifting gym experience and dynamic training curriculum to the youngest of children,” said Jesse Labreck, Ultimate Ninjas Franchise Group Vice President and American Ninja Warrior professional athlete. “At a critical, early stage of their development, kids build strength and confidence inside the gym that benefits them in so many other aspects of their lives.”
All of the new Academy locations in the United States will open between Fall 2024 and March 2025. The inaugural location in Naperville, Illinois opened last month, owned by Melissa Rogers, who previously coached the Academy program within a nearby Ultimate Ninjas gym.
The group that signed the Master Franchise Agreement in China has developed several youth-focused destinations such as My Gym, Water Baby and the current top-performing TOOT Science franchise. The first two Ultimate Ninjas locations in China are anticipated to be open by Winter 2025.
Specially designed with scaled-down, authentic ninja obstacles for younger kids, Ultimate Ninjas Academy gyms fit within a 3,000 to 3,500-square-foot retail space. Academy programming conforms well within the recurring membership/revenue model with multiple revenue streams and year-round classes that includes parent-involved, beginning movement through independent skill-based obstacle training, day and after-school classes, plus birthday parties.
Ultimate Ninjas Academy gyms focus on the holistic development of young children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play and exploration. Coaches cultivate a positive environment where children develop valuable skills early in their development through balancing, hanging, jumping, climbing and running while gaining self-confidence, perseverance, strength, agility, coordination, balance and experience in teamwork.
“Ultimate Ninjas Academy and Ultimate Ninjas gyms are a fantastic franchise opportunity combining the highly coveted fitness and kids entertainment industries while tapping into the exploding ninja sport,” said Jeff Piejak, Ultimate Ninjas Franchise Group founder and CEO.
